LAUREN HOLSOMBECK

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Lauren Holsombeck is the Program Coordinator with the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking (LCHT). She holds a Masters in Social Work, concentrating on Organizational Leadership and Policy Practice from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. During her graduate education, she completed fieldwork with a year-long internship at LCHT as well as Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Before moving to Denver, Lauren lived in Atlanta, GA working for various nonprofits big and small. From an art therapy organization, Paint Love to Emory Healthcare, Lauren’s had a variety of experiences in marketing, community outreach, direct service, and volunteer management. Throughout her time with LCHT, she has supported Colorado’s 24/7 Human Trafficking Hotline as well as the Leadership Development Program. She is interested in social justice, trauma-informed care, and community-centered policy. Outside of LCHT, Lauren can be found reading, napping, eating ice cream, and loving other people’s dogs until she gets her own.
