The TAXI Community
At LCHT, we believe where we work plays a significant role in how we work. That’s why, in 2010, we joined the TAXI Community, a former Yellow Cab terminal in Denver’s River North (RiNo) area that is now a diverse community of light industrial, office, and live+work loft spaces. The visionaries at TAXI share many of our organization’s core values–collaboration, innovation and work grounded in the community. TAXI’s diverse, mixed-use culture and environment nurture creativity, encouraging cooperation and open conversations. Typically location and/or mission isolate a small non-profit, however, we cannot do our work in a vacuum. Combating human trafficking is not a solitary endeavor–public awareness is key to our effectiveness. We value an environment that reflects LCHT’s commitment to collaboration. It adds value to our work and serves as a constant motivator.
